What do you think about Michael Jackson overshadowing Farrah Fawcett?
Q. Farah Fawcett didn't have the impact Michael Jackson did during her life but she had alot to give, and I think the fact that Jackson died the same day as Fawcett completely overshadowed her 'remembrance' and mourning over her death and life. Do you think it could have or should have been handled differently by the networks? Thoughts on the whole ordeal?

A. I think they should have done more for the others that died since the evening Jackson died. They pretty much dropped everything and went all over him. However, on the day it happened we all turned on to our usual stations to see the story unfold, I would have been surprised if I had put on CNN after I saw it on line and seen a tribute to Farrah or Ed when everyone else was reporting that Jackson might have died. I can see why they reported a live event unfolding rather than news that had happened earlier. CNN said at the time that they had planned an evening of remembrance until that happened. I guess they'll do it another day.

Can I replace kitchen taps and fawcett myself easily and inexpensively?
Q. I am not a plumber. If I go to Home Depot and buy a new kitchen fawcett and taps does it come with step by step instructions? I think I could do it if there was good instructions and a diagram or two.

A. In order to do the Farrah Fawcett look you're going to need a 2" curling iron. Instead of curling under as you traditionally would, reverse the curling iron and curl outward and upward as opposed to down and under. Curl in large sections and then run a brush through it. A. you need a stem wrench...any hardware has them... if the one below me is a plumber for 20 years,he must be broke... you can get a stem wrench for a couple bucks,the same for the stem...both will cost you less then 20 bucks, what plumber is going to put in a new unit for that???second,you dont need a new stem unless the brass is broke where the washer goes,a washer will be fine...and the only place you put plumbers grease on a unit,it the threads of the stems...and you should not have to on a new unit...the new washerless units will not give you a whole lot more time out of them...the biggest difference is that when they start to leak,you have to change the stem,over 10 bucks normally, instead of a 5 cent washer...and they will leak...
